Category: New IO Format Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Bob Hanson (hansonr) Summary: RasMol "Write Script" Command Initial Comment: Rasmol enables the saving the parameters which define an active state as a text file which enables the development of pictures over multiple sessions. The previously saved active state can be revisited by using the script (filename) COMMAND. This is one of the great features of the RasMol program ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Bob Hanson (hansonr) Date: 2006-09-27 16:04 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1082841 RasMol deals with far fewer capabilities. Slowly progressing on this one -- we have a script history now, and all the objects hold their visibility information. There are two possibilities, both of which are long-term in the works: 1) a script that gets you from file load to current state. 2) a user-unreadable snapshot of the entire model(s) state that can be read by Jmol to immediately reproduce that state. Both would be valuable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bob Hanson (hansonr) Date: 2006-08-22 18:58 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1082841 we might return to this ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=379136&aid=1398256&group_id=23629 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
