For example, in the attached file of dna, these options do nothing when selected. 2) Once one of these options is turned on, it can't be turned off without turning off all the other structure options. Also, looking at the menu, you can't tell which options are selected. That would require adding an Off menu item for each kind of structure. 2. Like most of the commands, they apply to the currently selected atoms not globally, so checkmarks are not really possible.
