Here's a simple idea I'd like to implement, particularly for the
development trunk:

We have two places in Jmol where we indicate the version --
JmolConstants.java and Build.xml. When I start making changes from now
on my plan is to increment the subsubversion in JmolConstants and on
that line make an entry relating to what the change entailed. Then, when
we've had enough changes and want to do a prerelease, I'll increment the
counter in Build.xml to match. I should then be able to go back to
JmolConstants and see a simple listing of all the changes for that
prerelease.

Sound reasonable?

Bob
