I think these questions are mostly directed at Bob, but feel free to
chime (Jmol :)) in.
The new function _setXXXXX(); definitions and calls cause versions
older than about 11.3.26 to load up the file but display nothing when
these state scripts are used with the applet. Do people think that
there will be problems with people updating to the latest Jmol
without updating what is on their servers? Because I use state
script generating facility in the export to web functions, I just
wanted to know if people thought I would run into trouble with the
web pages not working for a lot of people.
That said: I figured this out testing my code to allow checking pages
locally. I'd like to include that and some updates to the help
dialogs in release 11.4. What is my time frame for getting this into
SVN?
