Category: None Group: None Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: friedar (friedar) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: improve sheetsmoothing Initial Comment: The sheetsmoothing command has no effect on certain parts of a protein after re-defining the protein's secondary structure using the structure command. To see this, open the attached folder, and run the script fig3Ainit.spt in Jmol, and note the smooth sheet in the lower part of the protein. Then comment out the line "script fig3Astruct.spt" in the script file, and run it again - now the sheet is wavy (not smoothed). Note there are some other beta strands that do get smoothed. So the sheetsmoothing command is working sporadically on the structure. The fig3Astruct.spt file has only structure commands in it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-07-17 16:01 Message: Logged In: NO files should be in http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/docs/examples-11 Bob ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-07-17 15:14 Message: Logged In: NO Thanks, will do.
