The minimize is working again in 11.6.4 - Thanks, Bob! But I see a funny thing which I guess has some relation to this "fix":
Both app and applet, the topmost entry in the pop-up menu shows the molecule name, but the first submenu entry says "Minimize" and indeed it runs minimization!
