Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has developed a split screen for Jmol? I'm
developing a web site, on which I would like to display a structure twice in
two different representations. As far as I'm aware, there are two ways of
doing this:
1. I can create an artificial PDB file that contains the structure twice.
The problem is that if I rotate the object in the applet, the two structures
rotate around one common centre of gravity and can be "behind each other"
depending on the view point.
2. I can have two separate applets in the web page displaying the same
structure independently. The problem here is that I can't rotate them
synchronously.
So my question is: Is there any way that someone can develop a feature of
jmol, such that I can have one Jmol applet displaying two structures side by
side and rotating synchronously? How difficult would that be?
Julia.
