Hi Eric This happens occasionally. In principle it is due to Java security restrictions (nothing to do with folder permissions). This is explained in http://wiki.jmol.org/index.php/Troubleshooting/Applet#Java_security_er rors http://wiki.jmol.org/index.php/Jmol_Applet#Unsigned_vs._Signed_Applet_ .26_Data_Access http://wiki.jmol.org/index.php/Jmol_Applet_Deployment_Local
However, pages that fit the correct criteria sometimes raise the error nonetheless. This is due to some changes in Java policy or a browser caching previous versions. I suggest that you first try to clear your browser's Java cache, http://wiki.jmol.org/index.php/Troubleshooting/Java_Problems#Java_cach e close and restart the browser. If the error does not go away, then we need to investigate more. It is importat to know in which folder are your script files and model files, relative to the folder that contains Jmol files. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
