Hi Nico,
Are you the person who is responsible for publishing the official Jmol releases?
I am now preparing the Ant tasks for deploying Jmol to the maven central
repository.
There are 2 prerequisites:
1) The person who does the deploying must create an account in the Sonatype's
JIRA system: https://issues.sonatype.org/secure/Signup!default.jspa
2) GPG must be used to sign the artifacts deployed by maven. You will need to
- download and install GPG, unless you have it already
- generate a GPG key and distribute it to a public keyserver, as described
here:
https://docs.sonatype.org/display/Repository/How+To+Generate+PGP+Signatures+With+Maven
(note: be careful about the sub-key problem mentioned at the website)

Hi Tomas,
Ok also for me for deploying Jmol releases into a Maven repository.
I'm already using an Ant script for deploying Jmol releases into sourceforge
(tools/jmol-release.xml).
If you can write the scripts for the deployment, the maven deployment could be
added in this script.
