Thank you very much for your answer! As you suggest probably scripting will help in moving the substituent in toto. However, lets say that the atom that is moving has 100 atoms attached to it , should I move all of them by calculating their position so that the reciprocal distances remain the same? It sounds very hard to do. Is there some kind of shortcuts in your opinion that can help me with this issue? Thanks a lot for your help
