Hi Thanks for the reply,
The most up to date version of JMol is now running on my server. However,
the problem I wanted to solve installing the most up to date version still
persists.
The command :
jmolScript('moveto /* time, axisAngle */ 1.0 { -665 -743 77 146.14} /* zoom,
translation */ 80.0 0.0 0.0 /* center, rotationRadius */
{0.2629999999999999 0.7225 -1.2454999999999998} 3.6994724443370037 /*
navigation center, translation, depth */ {0 0 0} 0 0 0 /* cameraDepth,
cameraX, cameraY */ 3.0 0.0 0.0;', NameDesApplet);
is rendered corectly under JSmol, but fails to work under Jmol. The error
"Script Fehler: falsche Argument Anzahl" = "Script Error: wrong number of
arguments" is given. If I omit the cameraDepth parameter, everything is
fine.
I really would like to continue to run my Jmol/Jsmol based webpages in a
Jmol and a JSmol based version. Both have their advantages (Jmol runs and
loads much faster). Will be new features (like camera depth) only be
implemented into JSmol. I really do not need cameraDepth, however I would
have to edit quite a few jmolScript Commands I really would prefer a
professional solution in using versions of Jmol and JSmol supporting the
same sets of commands.

*We run most of our pages in a Jmol
(http://schelm.hhu.de/home/Lehre/scheLM/scheLM_3D/start.html)
and in an JSmol
(http://schelm.hhu.de/home/Lehre/scheLM/scheLM_3D/start_JS.html)
version. The command
jmolScript('moveto /* time, axisAngle */ 1.0 { -665 -743 77 146.14} /* zoom,
translation */ 80.0 0.0 0.0 /* center, rotationRadius */
{0.2629999999999999 0.7225 -1.2454999999999998} 3.6994724443370037 /*
navigation center, translation, depth */ {0 0 0} 0 0 0 /* cameraDepth,
cameraX, cameraY */ 3.0 0.0 0.0;', NameDesApplet);
is rendered correctly in JSmol (it was copied from "Anzeigen ->
Orientierung" = "Display -> Orientation" in JSmol), but it is not rendered
in JMOL. Here the following error is observed:
"Script Fehler: falsche Argument Anzahl" = "Script Error: wrong number of
arguments".
If I remove the "cameraDepth" parameter from the command, it will work.
However, hoping that installing a more up to date version of JAVA would
solve the problem (accept the additonal parameter) I tried and failed to
find the appropriate version (see above).
