I have been using jmol-3 successfully on both linux and pc. recently it
appears that java web start upgraded my pc version to jmol-4. there now
seems to be a problem reading big gaussian output files (and possibly other
large files). i have some files that can be read with my linux jmol-3
version, but when i try to open them with my pc jmol-4, i get the message
Unable to read file "file.out": Error determining input format:
java.io.IOException: Mark invalid. If this is an error, please contact the
Jmol development team
Is this a know problem? Is there anything I can do?
thanks
