I have some problems with the display of molecule vibrations and vibration vectors in the new version of jmol.
I' m studying lattice vibrations and the vibrational eigenvectors coming out of my molecular dynamics are feed into jmol via the g98 file format. It worked fine with version 5 but now for eg. the acoustic modes, which should have uniform vectors for all atoms look strange i.e. some have correct vectors but some have vectors with small and reverse arrow heads (pointing inwards). Moreover the movements are likewise distorted, the atoms move with different speed and somehow rugged. As I alreaday said, all works perfect in version 5 and is new in 6.1. It's a pity because the UI of 6.1 has very much improved, in particular the axes I was missing.
Is this a OS X problem and will there be a fix ?
