Others have reported that jmol *does* work on panther with safari, so I am
not sure what your issue is.

Unfortunately, I don't have a Mac ... so I will have to try and find one
that is running Panther.

Does the java console appear? If so, is there anything inside there?

(If not, I think there is some tool that you use to enable the display of
the java console ... anyone know what it is called?)

*Everyone* gets mixed up ... including me ... hence my last email :-)

1. The JmolApplet itself works on MacOSX with all browsers
2. There is no JavaScript support for *any* applet on *any* OSX browser

Because of #2:
 a. you cannot use JavaScript to send script to the JmolApplet
 b. the JmolApplet cannot execute JavaScript callback functions

This is not a Jmol limitation, but applies to *all* applets. Apple needs
to fix this.

Some people say it works ... I cannot test it.

On 10.2, Jmol works with Safari, IE, and Netscape 7.0
