No, it has not... It should be like this:
put the rssviewer.jar in ${HOME}/.jmol/plugins,
and the rssviewer.props in ${HOME}/.jmol

The props files should look like:

ChannelCount=2

Channel0=http://www.woc.sci.kun.nl/cgi-bin/rssfeed.rss
Channel0Title=Woordenboek Organische Chemie
Channel1=http://www.ch.ic.ac.uk/csdemo/feed.php
Channel1Title=Imperial College

If this does not work, can you then send me the cdk.log created with:

java -Dcdk.debugging=true -jar jmol.jar

Somewhere in the first 20 lines, there should be a statement where the plugins 
are searched....
