In the Jmol application, yes. In the JmolApplet ... normally No HTTP ... yes, but only from the same web server So do not put the http:// in front of it ... just start with FTP does not work. The applet cannot make that type of call. (If you *need* to do this in the applet then it is possible ... but you need to do some somewhat advanced web server configuration ... using the JmolAppletProxy.cgi ) > How about in rasmol?
