This news has generated a lot of hype/concern/worries in the Java
community. To date, neither Sun or MSFT have released much info about
this.

Microsoft's web site has been updated. But it still says that they will
continue to phase out Java support from all existing products.

They certainly are not going to reintroduce it where it was already removed.

I think it means that they will do security bug fixes ... nothing more.

We need to wait until some of the dust settles.
