Thanks to all who made suggestions in regards to my recently posted problem with Safari and Jmol. It turns out my problem was not limited to Jmol but occurred with all java applets. Here is how I finally resolved the problem for those who are interested. I logged into a different account on the same computer (my PowerBook) and java applets worked fine there so I knew that there wasn't anything wrong with my system. I tried moving all the .plist files that I could find that were related to Safari or Java out of my Users/name/Library/Preferences folder and still no luck. Finally, I found some java related plug-ins in the Users/name/Internet Plug-Ins folder. When I removed the JavaPluginCocoa.bundle file from there all was fine.
Thanks again.
Jeff
