Certainly Jmol is an XXL applet.

I read the forum postings.

Their initialization scheme must be different ... they must be using a
separate thread to do some of their startup. If so, then I don't think it
is directly applicable to Jmol.

I see that Bob got a crash log entry with MarvinSketch. Certainly if
someone gets crash log data with Jmol I would like to take a look at it.

I have been thinking about trying to come up with some scheme to prevent
other JavaScript calls to the applet before it is loaded. Nothing firm so
far.
