'measurements' and 'monitors' are the same thing (in the future that may
change, but for now they are the same).

Therefore, you have the same problem than Hens does

-- 2 minutes later --

STOP! HOLD IT!

It seems that my explanation to Hens was incorrect. Maybe I already fixed
this problem ... or maybe it fixed itself.

In the v10pre16b build that I am currently running, I can say

color monitor red
monitor 1 100

And it will do the right thing.

So, Hens, please try again and tell me if something is failing for you.

Now, Craig, coloring the measures works the same way, because they are the
same as 'monitor'

color measure blue

/* interactively make a measurement */

And the measurement is blue

-- 30 seconds later --

But, on reviewing your question I see that you are probably asking
something else. There currently is no way to control the 'pink' line that
is used while the measurement itself is being made. I will see if I can do
somethign about that.

Q: Do you agree that it is a good idea to keep it a different color from
the measurements themselves?

Q: What word would you use to describe this 'tape-measure' during the
measuring process? (The CAD people probably have a term for it)
