uhhh, my company assumes *all* internet-downloaded entities are malicious.

Getting a downloadable plugin certified for hosting on my company's
internal servers isn't an easy task.

Having a choice of signed/unsigned applets is, to my mind, an easier
mechanism. If a particular user wants a more features than I provide via
the applet then I can direct them to the Jmol tool or, if they are really
a power user, to pymol.
