Correct.

However, Java 1.3 on Mac was terrible. Therefore, it is not a supported
configuration.

If you want to prevent future support issues, I will consider adding a
check which prevents Jmol from running on Java 1.3.

As I said, Java 1.3 on on Mac OSX is not supported.
