It looks like to me that the zoom is already broken at high zoom factors. Load up a small molecule and zoom it way in. The size/position of the bonds changes relative to the atom spheres. I don't think I can crank up the maximum zoom without debugging this problem and understanding what is going on. And that is not something that I can do in the short term.
