Bob.

I just made another observation which confirms what I mentioned earlier. I have a full install of OS 10.3.9 on this machine. I booted into it and the two links (yours and Stanford's) work fine in any order on Firefox. Thus, I conclude that this is the Mozilla plugin issue and will be resolved when a new plugin is released, presumably next week. So Jmol should work in all of those browsers at that point and we will be back to where we were before the release of Tiger. Don't write us Mac users off yet:-)

That leaves us with the sequential access issue in Safari, which you have nicely identified with a very simple applet. Where do we go from here? I can use the bug reporting tab in Safari to report it using your simple instance -- if you are going to keep that page up for a while so they can look at it.

OK Bob Now we are getting somewhere
The same issue is present in Safari. I can load either the links below and it will work in the first instance, not the second. And firefox crashes on both, when loading the page. I do not even get to the place where I can select a link to look at. I think the firefox issue may be resolcved next week, but I am not sure.
