shift-right-drag does nothing in Jmol 10.00.16 on OSX 10.4.2.  but I am not 
surprised; IIRC, shift-left-drag is supposed to do double-duty (on Mac at 
least): zoom and z-rot.  this was by design (I can't recall why just now) and 
has been true for quite a while.  at least, that is my recollection.

btw, the above holds true for my PowerBook's native trackpad 
(shift-ctl-click-drag) as well as my Logitech multi-button mouse.
