Jan, I know that you sent me information on how you believe that altLoc
should be implemented.
However, I was unable to understand what you sent me. I need input from
several different people to decide how this support should be added.
Please Jmol users list people provide the input.
I think that Jmol should support the altLoc PDB identifier as RasMol
does. altLoc conformations should be selectable as in RasMol and be able
to be rendered or not.
Automatic MODEL generation was not necessary (may be, because of
possible memory problems, not desired). If selection was possible, the
"MODEL"s could be displayed and rendered by hand.
