In my opinion, Sun's Java terminology is far from coherent; I've always got confused; they call the same product in different ways. I'm not sure of the technical details, but from a practical point of view I have come to this conclusion. I think it can be accepted that the plugin is a part of the JRE. Regarding versions, it seems that from v.1.5 they started to call it v.5; so, "JRE version 5 update 4" is likely the same as the expected "JRE version 1.5.4". I bet you are in the right place, Frieda. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Jmol-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jmol-users
