I may be mistaken, but I don't think that this mode is appropriate. This is 'full screen exclusive mode', a mode that seems to be targeted at gaming. An emphasis of this mode is that the video painting model is different ... because you have direct access to the video frame buffer. The event model is also changed. I believe that adapting Jmol to this would require a significant rewrite, or at least the creation of a specialized wrapper around the existing Jmol viewer engine. I think that Windows has other methods for 'super-maximizing' an application ... like Internet Explorer, for example ... where the underlying windowing and event model is not changed. It would be more practical to know whether or not this type of mode is accessible through Swing.
