Prior to the Jmol 10 release, Jmol did have basic editing functionality, though this mostly consisted of the ability to delete unwanted atoms (which was actually used by users). Such functionality is no longer available from Jmol itself, though plugins may provide such functionality. Thanx for mentioning this incorrectness.
