hi all,
can anyone recommend a free or demo software program for producing
isosurface files (cube files)? I have available OS X, Linux, and
Windows XP.
Tim,
The cube file is a Gaussian format and I have been using G03. There
are
several free or demo software packages that claim to produce/export
cube
files.
1) Molpro http://www.molpro.net/ has a 30 day free trail
2) CPMD http://www.cpmd.org/ is free(?)
3) Ampac and acubegen will generate cube files. I believe these are
both
still free.
4) Gamess http://www.msg.ameslab.gov/GAMESS/GAMESS.html free to
academic
users.
thanks Rick! I'll check them out.
regards,
tim
