Recent releases of the Jmol.js _javascript_ library are enforcing use of the
Sun Java Virtual Machine under Windows Internet Explorer. It does this by
specifying the ActiveX ObjectID of the Java Plug-in.

Normal behavior for Windows Internet Explorer is to pop a dialog box
asking about downloading the ActiveX control.

Are you implying here that it might work using a different browser, like FireFox?



Please have someone investigate and see whether or not it makes sense.
Some questions:

 Are the pages using Jmol.js?

No.

 Is the Sun JVM installed?

Will check.

 Are there security settings in place that would block notification and/or
download of ActiveX controls?

Will check.
