I do believe you, let's just say that I want to experience it myself directly 
;)  Part of the learning process.

It's probable that in a near future, I will authorize only registered users to 
edit, but I really want to see what happens without this.

I have also helped maintaining a Wiki ( http://fahwiki.net/ ), but user 
registration was necessary from the beginning on it and spams happened often.
When we added SpamBlacklist, it became a lot less troublesome, I want to see 
what it is worth without user registration.



Other point: I have removed the gnu license.
