I doubt it. Bob proposed not to ignore data_global blocks, as I suggested,
but to check if they contained structural data, which is a better idea. In
IUCr journals and elsewhere data_global contains mainly text information
that applies to all structures in a multistructure CIF, and can be at the
start or end of the CIF. I did not realise that AMS systematically uses
data_global to start a single structure CIF.

But I too have a problem with 10.9.74, or perhaps with my script that
works with 10.9.73, and I don't use data_global :-) I'm sure it will soon
be sorted.
