apparently it's a bug with sourceforge affecting several projects.
I have opened a bug in sourceforge tracker after seeing your mail and I
am waiting for sourceforge to do something about it.

it's probably a bug in sourceforge.
I will check the mailing list configuration, and if there's no reason
there for the mails not being, I will open a support request on
sourceforge.
