(not sure the first mails were received, so sending it again)

Hello everyone,

In the last months, Bob did a tremendous work of adding new features to
Jmol.
With that many work, we think it is time to release a new stable version
of Jmol: Jmol 11.0.

I have just released 10.9.104, available at http://www.jmol.org/files/

To provide a Jmol 11.0 as stable as possible, we have decided to work
that way :
- for 1 or 2 weeks, 10.9.104 is available for testing for everyone.
Please, test as much as possible so that we all be sure that Jmol 11.0
has no big problem. The only modifications made to the code will be only
bugfixes, translations updates, ... but no new development during this
period.
- after those 1 or 2 weeks, if no big problem is encountered, we will
create a specific branch in subversion for 11.0 and release a first
candidate to be 11.0 (11.0.beta1 or 11.0.RC1) so that 11.0 can undergo
further testing in that branch, while new development can continue in
the main trunk (releases 11.1.x).
- expect the real Jmol 11.0 sometime at the end of the year or the
beginning of the next year.

Comments are welcome :)

Nico
