could be a bug here; I did rework the compiler code for this business.

Ravi -- be sure to let us know if this continues to be a problem. When I do

load files "=1jvp" "=1crn"
select [LIG]/1;color white

I can certainly see it, and when I then

hide [LIG]/1

it certainly hides it. I won't do anything more on this until I hear 
from you.
