I would be happy to have the exact same Jmol model exported to POV-Ray, since rendering with ray tracing is already worth having. Jmol is a serious tool for crystallographers, while POV-Ray is for making pretty pictures for publication (which is also important). BTW, nothing should be done to slow down jmol, which is already a bit slow for constructing multiple (hidden) zeolite cells of 25 Angstroms that are needed for constructing polyhedra.
