When sizing cartoons so as to get a narrower ribbon, e.g., cartoon
0.8 as opposed to cartoon on, the non-helix, non-sheet portions
become fat tubes. I think they should remain at the "regular" cartoon
diameter, which appears to be about equivalent to trace 0.2.
I've been scripting my way around this, but it gets tricky at times,
and after some reflection I cannot think of why one would want the
fat tubes as the default.
