Since an upgrade to Java 6 (1.6.0_02) I have started getting error messages of
the sort

java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.io.FilePermission
C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\Application
Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\50\5b1b7572-30e19cbd.idx read)
openFile(http://moodle.yeovil.ac.uk/elgg/admin/files/47/344/PCl5.pdb)190
<http://moodle.yeovil.ac.uk/elgg/admin/files/47/344/PCl5.pdb)190> ms
eval ERROR: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
(java.io.FilePermission C:\Documents and Settings\xxxx\Application
Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\50\5b1b7572-30e19cbd.idx read)

when I first open a web page with Jmol applets. I have the same symptoms
irrespective of browser (IE, Firefox or Opera) or operating system (Windows XP
or Fedora 7) so presume it is due to Java 6 and/or the particular way have
coded my Jmol containing pages

If the page is refreshed in the browser everything works fine. Reverting to
Java 5 also fixes the problem.

Anyone else with similar symptoms and/or can suggest a fix - apart from using
Java 5 ;-) ?
