Bob. Thanks for your quick reply. I thought I had tried it that way earlier, so I rewrote the script in the mnner you suggest. Also I tried entering the command directly in the stand alone Jmole App. Unfortunately, I get the same error message I reported before, and any script following the $o1 call fails to execute.
