It seems that Bob has been working in the shadows and maybe this
problem is already fixed for future versions 11.2.11 and 11.3.14
(I just looked at the SVN and there are changes by Bob entitled
"bug fix: rotateSelected MOLECULAR not around {0 0 0}"
