Thanks, Angel, that is a good thought. But I agree with you that halos lack a 3D aspect. So they're not appropriate for conveying the size and shape of, for example, most ligands. They are great for highlighting a subset of atoms and I think that's their best use.

I think dot density control would be a good thing for Jmol, but it's not a high priority.
