Actually I am finding now I have to click the antialiasDisplay off
and on several times to reproduce this problem at the web page below
- I didn't realize this before because I was testing the page (with
many other controls on it at the time) using the buttons repeatedly,
and reloading the page. At that time I was getting it with every
single click of the antiAliasDisplay-triggering buttons.

The result is that Jmol freezes.
The same is true if you first click better performance, then spin,
then smoother graphics (which issues, antialiasDisplay=true).
The Java console reports
render mesh error hermiteRibbon: java.lang.NullPointerException
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-6" java.lang.NullPointerException
I cannot reproduce this in the Jmol application, using the same
scripts to set up the view, and then issuing the commands for spin
and antialiasDisplay from the console. The antialiasDisplay
commands then work seamlessly while the structure is spinning.
