The page loads and synch performs as expected in Safari 3 and Firefox
2.0 on Mac 10.4.11. There are no error messages in the Java console.

Josh, you might want to see if not loading a model into the second
applet fixes the problem, but I'm clueless why this is happening. I
don't think it had anything to do with dots or spinning.
