The page loads and synch performs as expected in Safari 3 and Firefox 2.0 on Mac 10.4.11. There are no error messages in the Java console.

did that. argh. This time Firefox crashed.

Josh, you might want to see if not loading a model into the second
applet fixes the problem, but I'm clueless why this is happening. I
don't think it had anything to do with dots or spinning.
