I have a model with a couple "special" atoms that I decided to mark
using the dummy Xx element name.
I would like to give them a color (other than the default pink); I
can do it using "select Xx*", but I'd rather set is as the default
color for Xx element, so users cannot change it easily.
I am finding than in MOL files I cannot do
select _Xx # 0 atoms selected
nor
color _Xx green # no effect
The latter seems to be working in PDB files.
(I'm testing on 11.4.RC8)
I'd appreciate any clues
