Hi list,
I was wondering if it's possible to load local files from the client side into
the signed jmol applet without having to copy the file back to the server side
first.
I understand that the standard way is to upload the client's file to a temp
directory on the server, and then have jmol applet read the temp file from the
server. Is it possible to skip the uploading part and have everything take
place on the client side?

There's a separate unrelated issue that I have encountered. I keep getting the
following error:
java.security.AccessControlException:access denied (java.net.SocketPermission)

The funny thing is that the jmol applet would work just fine the first few
times that I load it, then the above error would happen, and I'd have to quit
Firefox entirely, reopen it, and have it work again. Has anybody encountered
the same problem before?

Thanks very much in advance.

-Rob
