Hi All,
As you may already know, Proteopedia is a 3D wiki-encyclopedia for proteins
and other molecules that can benefit from 3D visualization in Jmol. It uses
MediaWiki software with the Jmol extension.
The Proteopedia Page of the Year Competition has begun. The top prize is a
32GB iPod touch (the top of the line model), donated by iDigital, Apple's
representatives in Israel. The top 5 winners will receive Proteopedia
mugs. The competition ends on December 31, 2008.
We are trying to encourage talented authors to create pages in Proteopedia,
and thereby see that it is easy to do so. Hopefully this relative
ease-of-use will encourage new authors to contribute in the future as well.
Please spread word of this competition as far and as wide as possible. The
more people know of it, the more interested authors will surface.
