That was a bug. I think I've fixed it. I've uploaded the fixed files
as http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/docs/examples-11/Jmol-11.zip.
Please try those. At least for me it is working -- the menu commands
on one applet drive all applets. You can check this out at
http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/docs/examples-11/sync4b.htm
