I was wondering if anyone knows how to append a trajectory point in
jmol (applet, 11.9.32)?
I have a set of points on a trajectory and I want to add them one at a
time but not as independent models. At the moment I can do (in
pseudocode):
load "initial_point.pdb"
for i=1,200
load APPEND "point(i).pdb"
end
But the applet gets slower and slower as more points are added. What I
would really like to do is add the extra points just as trajectory
points to the initial structure. I have had a look at the
documentation and it claims that "load APPEND TRAJECTORY" just adds an
independent trajectory - this would gain me noting as their is only
one structure per file.
I should also point out that I do not have the trajectory available
from the start as I am updating the display in the applet as the
simulation progresses.
