Hello,

I am executing the following Jmol script to clone a model in a Jmol Applet
window:

load '@EF';set appendNew false;delay 1;load APPEND '@EF';select
within(branch, {atomIndex=1000}, {atomIndex=0});translateSelected {4 4
0};set appendNew true;

EF is a Jmol string variable containing the existing model obtained via
jmolGetPropertyAsString("extractModel", "", "01"). This JavaScript string is
fed to the Jmol String via a JavaScript function.

This all works. But, if I save the state of the two model view and then
execute that state variable. The state is recreates with three models, with
two of them coincident.

The coincident models ate not apparent in the original two model window.

What makes this really strange is that I do not see this if I do the same
process with loads from file rather than in line loads???

The latter would be the way to go, but my intent is to give the user the
ability to duplicate a model that they have worked on for comparison
viewing. The application does not absolutely need the subsequent ability to
store this view, but it would be a nice feature.

Once again, looking for thoughts??

Bob, As I type, I just realized that I can use {*}[0].atomIndex rather than
that ridiculous atomIndex=1000, but that's not the problem here.
